Who’s Pyro?
Meet the icon behind our story — Pyro is the energy that fuels our style. As 2000s kids, we came up during a great era of design and the golden age of skate brands—when characters had attitude and everything had flavor. Think DC, JNCO, Birdhouse, and of course, Wild Grinders—one of our all-time favorite cartoons. Pyro is our nod to that world: bold, lowkey, and always fitted out. He represents everything Heaters is about—throwback energy, fresh style, and rocking the same gear we’re hooking you guys up with. Not just our logo- he’s what happens when nostalgia meets style.
The Origin
Pyro started out as just a candle in a shop window—melting in the sun, collecting dust, and watching the world go by. That is… until one afternoon, he saw a group of skaters cruise past the glass. Baggy jeans, bold tees, beat-up boards—proper steez with no effort. That was it. Something lit up inside him. He rolled off the windowsill, found himself a board, threw on the hardest gear he could piece together, and hit the pavement.
Pt. 2: The Grind
He never looked back to the shelf-life. Digging through bins, chasing grails, flipping heat for the homies—Pyro was hooked. But he didn’t stop there. He wanted to build something bigger. A place where people could find that same energy without the grind. So he started Heaters—a spot for the real ones, built from the grind.
