Our Story

Heaters offers more than just a vintage marketplace. We understand there are plenty of opportunities to buy clothes, but we want to provide something deeper. We built this brand on our values. As Christian young men, we saw the vintage resale space as one where we could step in and offer something different, and at the time, that was standout prices. We wanted to pride ourselves on not taxing customers and on being fair. However, we still felt called to more. In our lives, we seek in all we do to be unto God’s glory, which is where our brand verse, 1 Peter 4:11, and our mantra “Bring it! Everywhere,” come into play. Our goal is to bring a deeper thought process into both the necessity and hobby of buying clothing. 

The act of buying vintage or thrifting is not only a sustainable practice that limits consumerism and waste, but also a beautiful picture of something being given a second chance. Through Jesus Christ, we are offered the same, no matter how messed up we are, no matter how far we think we are from His grace. Jesus died for that very reason, so we would be without excuse; He took all potential punishment so that we might have the chance to start again. Selling and wearing vintage clothing is more than just nostalgia for us; it’s an example of giving clothing a second chance, an opportunity at new life. 

To be clear, we are not trying to compare what we’re doing to Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice on the cross, but rather hoping to point to a deeper meaning that can be found everywhere. Jesus gives us new life; we seek to reflect that in all that we do, “bringing it everywhere.”
